This Website has been created to help spread information on the activities of Fondazione Pfizer in Italy and therefore its contents are intended for users residing in this country.

By accessing and consulting the Website, or registering for it where applicable, the user of the Website (hereinafter “User”) expressly acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions of use which regulate, together with other current, applicable laws, the Website as set forth below (hereinafter “Terms and Conditions”). 1. Ownership of the Website

The owner of the Website www.fondazionepfizer.it is Fondazione Pfizer, with registered and administrative offices in Rome at via Valbondione no. 113, Tax Code 97259620587 and VAT no. 07300731002 (hereinafter the “Foundation”).

 

2. Ownership of the contents of the Website and use by Users

All visible and non-visible components of this Website (for example, texts, images, sounds, videos, graphics, brands, logos, audiovisual media, software, etc., hereinafter, all jointly referred to as “Contents”), including any modifications and updates, are the exclusive property of the Foundation or companies belonging to the same group (hereinafter “Pfizer Group”) and/or licensed to the Foundation by third party owners and/or licensees, and are protected by the legislation on intellectual and industrial property and in particular by current legislation on copyright protection, Law no. 633/1941 and subsequent amendments and additions.

Therefore, under current laws, reproduction, even if partial, making available, modification or processing, transfer, distribution, disclosure or dissemination by any means, without the prior written consent of the owner or the person holding the relevant rights, is absolutely prohibited. Failure to comply with these prohibitions entails the application of the penalties provided for by the applicable legislation. Alternatively, the reporting of a suspected adverse reaction may be communicated to Pfizer, Marketing Authorisation (MA) Owner of the medicinal product suspected to have caused this reaction, by telephone on +39 (0)633182999.

The Foundation reserves the right to make changes, corrections and improvements to the content of the Website at any time, without prior notice. The updating and periodic verification of this Website may result in it being temporarily inaccessible and information and data which is not up-to-date continuing to be on the Website, with respect to which the Foundation accepts no liability.

By using the Website, the user declares that they are aware that it is technically impossible for the Website to function without any defect and for it to always be accessible without interruption and also that the Website’s operation may be compromised by events and conditions outside of the Foundation’s control, such as, for example, the availability of internet connection.

In addition, although reasonable and specific diligence, care, attention and commitment have been given to the creation and operation of this Website and its Content, the Foundation - as well as any individual company of the Pfizer Group - cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy and correctness of the Content or the absence of any technical problems, accepting no liability in this regard.

Finally, the Foundation - as well as any individual company of the Pfizer Group - shall not be held liable for any damages or viruses which may affect the IT equipment or other property of the User as a result of access to, use or browsing of the Website or the downloading of Content of the Website and therefore cannot be held liable for any damages.

In this regard, the Foundation invites Users to equip their own device with updated anti-virus software to protect data transmission on the network, both incoming and outgoing and ensuring the internet service provider has adopted firewalls and anti-spamming filters or suitable measures for the security of data transmission on the network, as it is not possible to guarantee that the measures adopted for the security of the Site and the transmission of data and information on the Site itself limit or exclude any risk of unauthorised access to or dissemination of data.

The Foundation also reserves the right to interrupt access to or functionality of the Website at any time, in whole or in part, without assuming any liability in this regard.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

For any legal claim or proceeding relating to the Website and its Content, the law of the Italian Republic shall apply, without prejudice to the provisions of international private law. Any dispute which may arise in relation to the interpretation, application and execution of these Terms and Conditions shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, without prejudice to the provisions of current jurisdiction laws.
